This project involved creating a custom invitation website for a wedding in France. The couple sought an interactive platform to engage guests, share essential event details, and allow RSVPs. The goal was to combine their Rwandese heritage with a sophisticated and modern design.

The goal was to design an interactive wedding invitation that would:

Challenges

One of the biggest challenges was balancing the traditional Rwandese influence with the couple’s desire for modern simplicity. They wanted the design to resonate with their heritage but not overpower the overall minimalist look. Additionally, the website needed to be intuitive for guests of all ages while incorporating functional features like RSVPs and space for allergy notifications.

Solution

After brainstorming and collaborating with the couple, we developed an interactive wedding website that embraced simplicity and elegance:

  • Design Aesthetic: We integrated subtle Rwandese patterns in the border and logo design, using black and green to evoke sophistication and nature.
  • Functionality: Guests could RSVP directly, indicate the number of attendees, and provide allergy information.
  • User Experience: The website featured clean typography, intuitive navigation, and a responsive design for desktop and mobile use.

Outcome

The final product was a polished, interactive website that perfectly represented the couple’s vision. Guests loved the ease of use and were touched by the cultural details woven into the design. The RSVPs were managed seamlessly, and the couple was thrilled with the mix of cultural pride and modern elegance.
